Brief reads your email, your calendar, your chat and your tasks. That is most of a week, and it is not the part that trips you up. The work that actually runs a business tends to sit in a spreadsheet somebody updates every Friday, a tracker nobody quite owns, a document that became the process by accident. Hundreds of systems hold work like that, and not one of them is ever going to get a connector of its own.
So Brief reaches all of them through a single bridge. In this video we build it on camera in a few minutes, then ask Brief about a document in Google Drive it has never seen. What comes back is where it starts getting interesting: the sheet you tick items off, the status you keep updating by hand, the file you open every morning out of habit.
